Employees in the Insurance Sector

In 2020, the number of employees in the Jordanian insurance sector to reach 3106 employees as compared to the 3122 employees in 2019(these numbers include employees of the Jordan Insurance Federation (JIF) and those of the 24 insurance companies in the Federation, while excluding sales agents and the Insurance Administration).

In 2020, the Federation prepared a statistical report detailing the qualifications of the insurance sector in terms of scientific qualifications and the number of working staff (males and females) in the Jordanian insurance sector as in 2020 compared to 2019. 

It is also worth mentioning that there are 1121 institutions providing supplementary and support services such as insurance agents, brokers, loss adjusters, TPA companies, actuaries, consultants, reinsurance brokers, licensed banks to practice insurance business, underwriters and reinsurance brokers residing outside the Kingdom.
